Kia ora. My name is Melissa Mason. I am a Kaitūhono/Connector with the Mana Whaikaha team.
I have a passion for walking alongside people with disabilities to improve their lives and overcome possible barriers.
I was born and raised in Foxton and have a strong focus on family. I have a wide range of experience and skills from supporting children and youths with challenging behaviours or high physical needs.
I also have experience in:
- being a part of early intervention and general behaviour support, and
- supporting adults with high intellectual or physical needs and assisting with further challenges they may have.
I look forward to working alongside people with disabilities and family as a Kaitūhono/Connector and being a part of the Mana Whaikaha team.
