Mana Whaikaha update December 21

This week is just a short note really to wish you all a wonderful Christmas and holiday time

In doing so I realise that for many people Christmas and the long school holiday period can be particularly stressful and challenging.

Please remember that Connectors at Mana Whaikaha will be available over the holiday period in order to be able to respond to anyone who is finding themselves in difficulties.

With Christmas upon us, we have come to the end of our first quarter of operating.  We still have our challenges as I am sure some of you will be aware. Not least of which being some of our back of house systems which result in slower than reasonable responses for some of you.  We do apologise for this.

We continue to have a very high demand for the service, which I hope has not had a negative consequence for any of you.  It has meant that the ongoing learning and development which would be so helpful to connectors in these new roles has gone on the back burner, but we must begin to address this in the New Year.

I would like to thank you all for your kindness and forbearance as we all come to terms with the many change at all levels that are required for us to get this new system right, and to wish you all a wonderful Christmas period.
